Mary Charlotte Smiles!

It's a cloudy, rainy Friday morning in Nashville. Sounds like a great time to post some more pictures of sweet, baby girls! It's been a fun, full week. We've been hoping for a few weeks now we would see a first real smile from MC. This week we got our wish. She grinned so big and seemed to really love the toys and books we showed her! It really made our day to see her have so much expression and interest in our faces. We also got to see Drake and Stokely on Thursday and ate at Loveless Cafe in Bellevue for lunch. It was great to see them. Drake recently took a pulpit position at a congregation not far from us in Ashland City. Drake was one of our youth group members back in Henderson days. It's really fun watching where all of our "kids" end up. Jason already has plans to perform wedding ceremonies for two other youth group members this summer. We are very proud of them and look forward to seeing all the places they will go! We also saw Mimi, G-Daddy, and Grandmother Beard last night for a short visit. We ate Chicken Stroganoff, had bath time, and singing time. We always welcome extra hands around here and it's nice to have help with these everyday routines! Have a great weekend from the Beard girls!

I think I'll just rest my hand here for a spell.

Thank you, Mrs. Smalley for the cozy pink towel.

We love to kick in our dresses.

Sugar and Spice and Everything nice.

Were just chillin', y'all!

Love those eyebrows!

"See my tongue?", says Mary Charlotte.

Look at our polka dots, Amy! True Mississippi girls!

"I'm getting very sleepy," says Elizabeth.

Who needs a paci with happy girls like these? LOL!

Elizabeth is a squealer.

Making G-Daddy proud with a motorcycle onesie.

Mimi and G bought us stylish Harley gear.

Hopefully we can contain our desire to ride Harleys for a few more years!

Mommy is still trying to keep the girlie thing going with these headbands!

"Look at my muscles," says MC.

Sleepy and ready for Mommy to stop already with the pics!

Memphis Came to Us!

One of the hardest things about moving is leaving friends that feel like family. Our close friends from Memphis, Archie, Courtney, Doug, and Adlee came for a visit this past weekend. It was wonderful to see them again. We enjoyed hanging out at home as well as visiting Chuy's Tex-Mex and the arts and crafts festival in Centennial Park

We became instant friends a few years ago when we met at church. We quickly discovered we had lots in common. Over the years we've spent a lot of time together and gotten to know each other really well. When Courtney had Doug, we all felt like we had our first baby. It's so crazy to think that now he is a big boy and can do so many things. It is surreal to think that now we have added three more babies to our little families. As Courtney posted on Facebook, "3 girls...3 weeks apart...best friends in the making." All of our girls had a surprising entrance into the world. Starting with Adlee arriving on Christmas Day, when her due date was in January, and our girls arriving in January when they were due in March! We continue to miss hanging out with the Shelton's and going to our favorite spot, Central BBQ.  It  helps tremendously knowing more weekend visits are in our near  future. We look forward to the next one! Happy Tuesday everyone!

Adlee loved the Giggles book.

She is such a happy baby and so much fun to make faces with!

She loved the noises the book made. Never too soon to start a book club!

She loves being in Daddy's arms.

"Who do I look at first? This baby wasn't here yesterday.
Maybe she's new in the neighborhood?!" says Mary Charlotte.

Doug is loving all these new sisters!

Happy Hot Pink Friday!

We are celebrating the beginning of May by wearing our hot pink outfits today. These outfits were given to the girls by Leslie, a teacher friend from Dexter Elementary. Leslie always dresses so cute and now she has shared some style with our girls!
Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Happy Friday!
