October has brought a lot of rain to Tennessee, so we are getting creative with inside activities. We managed to bring the baby pool inside for our very own re-creation of Show Biz Pizza-Beard style. The girls mainly fought over who needed to be the first in, but at least we had five seconds of fun! E and MC at this stage are so interactive and entertaining, and at times very challenging...our drama and feelings are worn directly on our sleeves and helping everyone stay safe and get along has become a balancing act. Bless MC, she's fallen so many times lately she looks similar to a punching bag and E gets so frustrated from her grocery cart getting stuck on the thick carpet that she bites the handle as hard as she can only to find out that hurts A LOT! Ha! Gotta laugh...thankful for these crazy days and have to chuckle a little about our life before babies! Love and hugs from Nashville! XOXOXO

20 Months
Dear Elizabeth,
You are the daintiest little thing! The way you hold your new tea cups and play with your kitchen set is so funny to watch. You carefully line all of your toys up and talk to them. You are so imaginative and love to "feed" Elmo with a baby bottle. You love Annie, the dog, so much and wait patiently for her licks and cuddles. You speak very clearly, ask lots of questions and sometimes you get silly and laugh while flopping, crawling, and going limp like a wet noodle. You are quite the little hoarder, as we find you with several "treasures" in your arms at once-usually trying to hide them from your sister. You call MC Baby Charlie and love to "shhh" us when sissy is still sleeping. We love you little Elizabug! These last twenty months have been the best of our lives.
Love, Mommy and Daddy
Dear Mary Charlotte,
You are everywhere! You are a Daddy's girl and love to give books to Daddy to read to you. You love to be chased and to play tag. You remind us when it's snack time by opening the pantry door. When the Count or Elmo comes on Sesame Street, you dance and clap your hands. You love to sing the ABC song and Mary Mack is your favorite book. You have the best manners and are so good to always say "please" and "thank you". The first time you saw your new kitchen, you said, "Wow!" You like to see new places and things and enjoy riding in the stroller and looking for deer, bunnies, and birds. When sissy cries or needs something you are a little Mother Hen and bring her a lovie or her cup. We love you, little peanut! You are such a big little blessing to our lives! We love you!
Hugs and Kisses,
Mommy and Daddy

Grandma and Grandpa's House
Daddy went to DC, so Mommy and the girls went to Illinois for a few days. The girls have had so much fun. Going for stroller rides, visiting the park, eating whatever they want and playing with new toys to name a few highlights. They also loved swimming in warm pool water (thanks Grandpa). Grandma even got them to eat green beans (thanks to her and the bacon). The past two Augusts have been my favorite ever. We are enjoying no school schedules and Mommy has no more Sunday sadness! We are very thankful for this time. Love and hugs from the Beard babies!
