6 Months Today

Dear Elizabeth,
You are half way to your first birthday. You can roll from your belly to your back and from your back to belly. We think your fingers are made of sugar because you love to suck on them right before you go to sleep. You squeal in protest right before your eyelids get their heaviest and you LOVE to meet new people. You are a little nosey and want to know where everyone is and what everyone is doing. You like to play with your tag blanket and love cloth books. You get so sleepy in the stroller, but never fall asleep because you don't want to miss a thing! We cried a little dropping you off to your first church nursery class this morning, but we felt much better after we knew you were happy.  We love you, our firstborn!

Dear Mary Charlotte,
January 20th was six whole months ago. Our sweet baby girl has grown so much! You love taking in the world around you and really like to have your diaper changed. You give us a smile anytime a warm wipe hits you. You can roll from your tummy to back and have strong legs. You love to play the piano on your exersaucer and you like to try new foods. You have a huge heart-warming smile and giggle. You still love Clifford and he goes everywhere with us. Outside on the porch is your favorite place to be. Today on your first day of church nursery, you loved the glider rockers and didn't even need the bottle we packed for you. You have the cutest bottom lip when you pout. All we want to do is make it go away and usually standing and walking with Daddy does just the trick! We love you, MC!

"I've got a secret," said Mary Charlotte.  "Let me in on it," said Elizabeth.

"Hehe, that is funny!"

It sure is bright out here!

We wore our diaper covers so we didn't get mixed up in nursery class.

"Daddy, come get on the quilt with us for a picnic," says the Princess Patrol.

"Hey, you come here often?"

They are dropping like flies!

Mommy is funny!

  2. Sorry about the ER visit, that is SO scary! But hey... you should celebrate that you have kept two babies alive for 6 months. I can't imagine and think that calls for ice cream :) Sweetest baby bottoms ever! :)
